Web SCADA, Data Logger and AI READY functionality
Monitoring and visualisation via a standard web browser
The integrated Web SCADA extends the PM200 electricity meter beyond conventional electricity metering by providing comprehensive monitoring and visualisation of electrical parameters. Data is available in real time through a standard web browser, while operator panels can be configured according to the requirements of the specific application.
The device also includes a Data Logger. Measured values are stored on a 32 GB microSD card and remain available for subsequent reporting and analysis. PM200 supports both graphical and tabular data presentation, as well as the creation of users with different permissions and access levels.
The built-in SMTP client enables e-mail notifications to be sent automatically at predefined intervals or when a specified event occurs. The device firmware can also be updated remotely, simplifying maintenance after commissioning.
AI READY for faster configuration and servicing
PM200 features AI READY functionality that allows an external AI model to assist with device configuration. Through the web interface, a task can be submitted to an external AI model to generate an initial JSON configuration, reducing the amount of work required during initial setup.
The same approach can be used to prepare descriptions for operator panels containing labels, values, buttons, images and graphical backgrounds. The system provides ready-to-use graphical elements, while configurations and operator panels can be saved and loaded directly through the web interface. The AI model is external and is not embedded in the PM200 device. AI READY therefore serves as an additional tool for supporting configuration, visualisation and servicing of the electricity meter.

Communication, control and electrical energy measurement
LAN, Wi-Fi, RS485 and Modbus for automation system integration
For integration into automation and energy monitoring systems, the PM200 device supports LAN, Wi-Fi and RS485, as well as the Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP communication protocols. Power over Ethernet (PoE) is also supported, allowing the LAN connection and power supply to be combined for simplified wiring.
Built-in PID controllers extend the functionality of the device to process control applications, with Auto Tuning available for automatic controller adjustment. Where required, the PM200 device can also be used with an optional remote display for panel mounting, providing local visualisation of measured parameters.
The electricity meter offers accuracy class 0.2S and supports power quality measurement in accordance with IEC 61000-4-30, Class S. Bidirectional measurement enables electrical energy to be recorded in both directions, making the device suitable for installations that both consume and generate electricity.
PM200 standards and applications
The PM200 complies with the requirements of the European Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU and RoHS2 Directive 2011/65/EU on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
For active and reactive electrical energy measurement, the device meets the requirements of IEC 62053-21, IEC 62053-22, IEC 62053-23, IEC 62053-24, EN 50470-3, OIML R 46 and ANSI C12.20. Radio communication in the 2.4 GHz frequency band complies with ETSI EN 300 328 V2.2.2, while the IP20 degree of protection is specified in accordance with IEC 60529.
The combination of measurement, data logging, Web SCADA, communication and control functions enables the PM200 to be integrated into electrical distribution panels, industrial electrical installations, substations, automation systems and energy monitoring solutions. The device is also suitable for applications requiring remote monitoring, data archiving and bidirectional electrical energy measurement.
