Operator Station DS

The operator station DS is an upgrade of equipment for instrumentation and manufacturing provided by company Unisyst Engineering. The main functions of the station are gathering, visualization and archiving of data from remote devices. There are functions for managing devices, which enables the construction of more complex systems management processes, i.e. construction of distributed control systems of technological processes. The software was developed as a Windows application and runs on a standard PC.

DS implemented following major functions:

• Communication with close and distant devices by RS232, RS485, MODEM, GSM, GPRS, LAN;
• Preview in real time the current values of digital devices as graphics curves or mnemonics shemes;
• Creating a database (archive) with the current values of the measured and calculated values. The size of archives is limited only by the size of the hard disk;
• Generating different variety types of reports from the archived data;
• Generating alarm messages for violations occurring in technological processes or communication problems.
